电子版提前出版后发现印刷错误，给编辑的信
背景情况：尽管非常仔细，在校对清样时还是漏掉了几处拼写错误，直到download下提前出版的电子版后才发现。立刻给编辑去信，争取在正式出版时纠正错误。我的去信： Dear Sir, I am terribly sorry to inform you that I have found 4 misprints in the pre-release of our paper entitled “TITLE OF YOUR PAPER” (REFERENCE NO. OF YOUR PAPER). 1) In the abstract on the page 1: a) 1st line in the Objective section. "The objective of his" should be "The objective of this". b) the line second to the last iin the Results section (2nd line above Conclusion). "compared with whose' should be "compared with those". 2) 4th - 5th line under 3.3 Folate status subsection on page 3. "compared with whose” should be "compared with those". 3) 3rd line of last paragraph of left column on page 5. “Therefore, our finding may note' should be "Therefore, our finding may not'. I am sorry for the incontinence that this may cause and I hope the above errors can be corrected before the paper is officially published.
